A Small Garden Transformation
The gallery below shows a recent small garden that I transformed in consultation with the client’s brief and sticking within their small budget. The bottom of their garden got the most sun throughout the day whilst the top part which they used for sitting outside in the summer got very little. It made perfect sense to me to switch the garden around and make a seating/patio area at the bottom. To almost become an outside room during the warmer months that they could use as a seating area and barbeque.
They had a rather old wall at the end of the garden which they didn’t want screened off. So I suggested that we just paint that white and put some metal artwork pieces up. The old shed which was wooden and starting to rot was taken down and removed and a new long lasting bigger shed was installed. A new lawn was introduced with good quality turf and a path laid from their back door down to the patio area.
